The occasional musings of Andy Scheffler
Yes, I’ve reached a milestone in my life.
My boss said he saw it yesterday, but I didn’t believe him. But then, I saw it with my own eyes this morning, in all its splendour.
My first grey hair.
I love my grey hairs. I have one I got when I moved to Tokyo, and I won’t pluck or dye it. It’s beautiful!
Oh, a while back I had already resolved that no matter what nature intended for me, I wouldn’t fight it.
If I go bald, so be it. If I go gray… gray it shall stay. No toupees or dying for me.
Although I was very very tempted to pull the sucker out this morning.
Grey?
I suppose I’m stuck with white. I’m actually surprised you’ve lasted this long as it is. I started when I was 21 or 22 and have gone through 5-10 of them.
i had some white hairs back when i was a sophmore in HS, first year at Stuy and very very stressed. then i said fuck it, stopped working to give myself ulcers, higlighted my hair red (hence my love affair with red in my hair), and it has not returned. Have you been stressed? that might do it. all that scheffler fielf action has been affecting you too!
yer old
Your grey hair is a sign you are getting old! I got my first grey hair in jr. high or something insane like that. I will be dead shortly.
