Ah, crap, and from reading the last post, I’ve come to a conclusion –
I’d better field-strip my car before the next major outing this coming weekend.
Fortunately, my “new” car has
1. That flashing security light
2. If anyone opens a door after I’ve locked them all, the car goes into “panic mode” with the horn and lights going off. (Yeah, like that’s going to help much, I know.)
3. I don’t need the garage door opener, since mine tends to not work during the colder months, but the car has a HomeLink system installed, so I trained it to work on my garage door. (Wasn’t easy to do with one person doing it all.)
I still need to remove some stuff from my car, and make sure all the CDs still in there are CDR copies.
Maybe I’d better make damn sure if I go the XM route, I get a receiver that can be removed from the car when not in use. I’m thinking Roady2.
