So for the last week at lunch, the TV in the cafeteria has been showing the cricket world cup. Cricket, the game which Americans are genetically incapable of understanding. I know it has something to do with wickets and bowling and possibly the golden snitch. I just had to stare at it for a few minutes today to see if I could figure out what was happening. I’m even more confused than I was before.

It’s like baseball, except there’s only 1 or 2 innings.
So, whereas in baseball, each half-inning is short and easy to follow, each side in cricket is much longer and much harder to grok. o.o

After reading this, I understand the rules of cricket. I won’t claim to understand cricket, or people who love it, but I get the rules now.
