Every once in a while I have the most random thing stuck in my head when I wake up in the morning. Most of the time I forget to post it but this is what I had this morning:
GPS driving directions in the Indianapolis 500. “At the next turn, turn left. Drive straight for 1 mile. At the next turn, turn left. Drive straight for 1 mile. At the next turn, turn left. Drive straight for 1 mile…”
I sometimes joke that it’s possible to sleep while driving I-5 to Los Angeles if you tied the steering wheel straight, but I used to wonder how one would wake up at the right time. So that’s what the GPS is for. It says “Drive straight for 400 miles”, then shuts up for six hours.
Ha!
David Hasselhoff tag ftw!
But what would you set as your destination?
Continue on local roads for 400 feet.
I hate to be pedantic but …
Ah, who am I kidding? I love to be pedantic.
Anyhow, I thought the ol’ Brickyard was a 2.5 mile oval? Your GPS directions make it a 4 mile square. (With rounded corners, of course.) 😀
