Flying to Atlanta tomorrow, but it appears as though Delta doesn’t have in-flight power on their 757s. So I’m working on self-entertainment on a single laptop charge + a single gameboy charge.
C’mon, airlines… get with the program!

bring a GBA game and your GBA and SP and then you have twice the gameboy charges! 😀
Or take a pocket full of batteries to switch in. Unless those are outlawed now as well, in case you attack someone with the deadly chemicals or something. (I wish I could just roll my eyes at the thought, I really do…)
you can’t switch the batteries on them now I think, at least not without a screwdriver which is definitely out of the question.
Of course, he wouldn’t want to be a screw-driver-wielding Terrist!
And didn’t realize about the batteries, since I’m happy with my charger and haven’t tried to change the actual batteries. Blah.
I never had one of the original GBAs, but I know the SP and the DS have built-in lithium batteries and come with a charging cable. You’re not supposed to change the batteries on them.
See, now I just feel silly. I remember changing out the batteries fairly often on the old GBCs and GBAs (the original ones anyhow), and just kinda assumed that even though I haven’t had to change batteries for the newer stuff, that it was still the same. Silly me!
Enjoy your flight
See you at the con. My cell # is seven oh six too three won fore ate six too.
I don’t remember in-flight power on my Delta flight to L.A. back in May, but there was an ongoing (and free) trivia contest…
Re: Enjoy your flight
Sounds like you flew in one of the Song planes. I was so sad when Song was bought by Delta.
You need to play Phoenix Wright 1-2, that will outshine your boredom.
I thought you can’t use your laptop while in flight because of the stupid terrorists?
Some of the 757s have them but only in First Class.
You can order special battery packs that let you charge your DS/Gameboy/laptop wherever you are. 😀 Taking one with me for the trip to Japan.
See you later! ^^b
are they restricting power to first class only because they dont want a significant increase in fuel consumption?
