Wow, I can’t believe they’re still using a pre-Windows XP system to run their drive-thru display system off of.
I was able to verify that Bank of America runs their current ATMs off of Windows XP Professional, only after seeing three of their newest at my local branch, with only 1 of them working, and one with a sheet of paper covering up the screen, which, after lifting, revealed an infamous BSOD message.
I took a few shaky cell phone camera photos for posterity. I haven’t encountered one that’s crashed as bad since, but I keep looking.

Who is that handsome man?
Priceless. XD
Say, I can even see the photographer, and he’s cute. (Aeolis/Omakechan)
Whoa.. is the hamster getting hit on via LJ?
Eh, I’m not worried, he’s a married man.
Is that really something *not* to be worried about? 😉
I’m available!
Did you check your burrito for corrupted file segments?
On an unrelated topic, have you made a decision about FFXIV yet?
That somehow seems appropriate.
For a moment, I thought this was a really cool new interface with a semi-transparent screen hovering in midair (that had bsod-ed). Blah!
