Saturday Checklist:
- Go to Doctor, get dressing changed for the tenth time (literally)… check.
- Go to Greenslip, get car smog checked to L.A. standards for twice as much because of higher standards… check.
- Go to AAA to renew membership and re-register car that’s almost a month overdue… well, gee, why was AAA closed? I don’t seem to remember it being closed on Saturday before. In fact, at least three other people came by the office expecting it to be open, and all found it to be closed. If that many people are coming by, don’t you think they should be open?
- Go to Home Depot to buy new flapper for toilet… check.
- Go to Albertson’s to buy loads of Diet Soda and Lean Cuisines… check.
- Spend the rest of the day watching Season One of X-Files, eating jellybeans and playing video games…. big ol’ check.
Closed DMV
Mebbe it was closed ‘cuz of Memorial Day reasons; so they can get a 3 day weekend like a buncha other ppl

No, the posted hours of operation were Monday through Friday. And here I thought that the AAA was supposed to be convenient.
