Yes, yes, Happy New Year. Or as desslok commented, “Good riddance to 2003!” (Or something along those lines.) Yes, even though it was the year that I bought a house, it wasn’t one of the happiest years in my life, as years go.
I’ve been taking these two holiday weeks off, I was only in the office on the first Monday, and worked from home the this last Monday. So I’ve been catching up on a lot of video games. I bought and beat Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. I’ve gotten even further in Final Fantasy XI, I’m up to level 21, and in the process of getting my chocobo license.
Suddenly I can’t think of anything else to say. Bah.
Now I feel inadequate. (Big shocker there. ^_^;) I worked all week, even on the holidays. I’m really looking forward to this weekend, even though I’ll be using the rest of my Christmas money to buy a new stereo for the truck and check the engine belts.
In game news, my Hume Warrior “Sorek” in FFXI is at Level 19, and I’m working on quests as I type, among other things. 2003 was a year of highs and lows for me as well, but that’s par for the course.
Until the next post…
